Tooth Colored Fillings

 

Now most of cases can be filled with tooth colored material as glass ionomes and composite 

 

The later one is now very popular for two resons 

The first reason is the natural appearence wich gives the paitent normal esthetics of the restored tooth 

The second reason is that the recent composite unlike the classic amangom restorations "they are glued (bonded) to the tooth structure and dont need either the removal of the tooth structure to provide mechanical retention 

 

In some cases when caries is extensive porcelain or dental ceramic inlay or onlays can be made 

 

CAD-CAM technology can provide the paitient with very precise inlays or onlays
