Dental Bridges

 

A fixed restoration used to restore a missing tooth or teeth 

 

Usually it needs reduction of teeth on either sides of the missing tooth or teeth. It may also be made using dental implants to support the bridge instead of natural teeth 

 

It is fabricated by some materials as dental crowns 

 

Also CAD-CAM technology may be used to fabricate a very precise restoration 

why should I make dental bridges?

 

Aftert tooth extraction the teeth on both sides tend to move towords each other to make the gap small, also the opposing tooth moves to the opposite direction, these movements may affect the teeth leading to tilting -over euruption and food stagnation, so it is important to restore the missing teeth by a bridge or an implant.
