Root Canal Treatment

 

• when decay reaches the pulp of the tooth ( the soft tissue containing nerve endings) it may or may not be associated with several pain. ( variouse degrees of pain may happen)

 

• At this stage, the convintional tooth filling is not suitable and insted root canal treatment is the proper line of treatment.

 

• It includes removal of affected pulp, cleaning and shaping of the rool/or roots and then the remaining part of the tooth can be filled with conventional filling materials. 

 

• In most cases, Root canal treated teeth should be crowned to avoid tooth fracture.
