it is that branch of dendistry that deals with cases defective bites which may be dental (malposed teeth) or skeletal due imporoper relation between the upper and lower jaws.

 

many people have crowded crooked teeth and orthodontics treatment will give them not only a better appearance but it can also make their teeth easy to clean and function properly 

 

Orthodontics may be carried out in childrens - adults and older age

 

In children sometimes it is necessary to wait for enough teeth to be erupted before starting treatment 

 

Simple cases may be treated by removable appliances but most cases needs fixed appliance.
