Valves & Risers
OS&Y gate valves
Our ductile iron gate valve provides full flow with minimal pressure drop. It is designed to be the main control valve in an automatic fire sprinkler system.
The resilient wedge, ductile iron gate valve features Class 125 flanged, flat face end connections for easy installation and accessibility. Outside screw and yoke (OS&Y) gate valves are recommended when positive shutoff and a quick visual indicator of open/closed position is required. This valve features a pre-grooved stem for tamper switch mounting and is drilled, tapped, and plugged at location “A” for bypass. It is listed by Underwriters Laboratories of the US and Canada (UL/ULC) and FM Approved.

Non-return Check valves
Our flanged cast iron horizontal swing check valve is designed with renewable seat and disc. Swing check valves prevent backflow by automatically closing when fluid reverses direction. This valve is generally installed between the Siamese connections and the riser to prevent backflow. The check valve is recommended for automatic fire sprinkler systems and is UL/ULC listed and FM approved.
The cast iron check valve features flanged end connections for easy installation. The swing check valve includes a renewable rubber disc and bronze seat ring. Swing checks may be installed in horizontal positions (or vertical with flow moving up). The check valve is recommended for automatic fire sprinkler systems and is UL/ULC listed and FM approved.

Deluge Valves
Deluge valves are used in Water\foam systems , they also used in watere deluge sytems
-
Deluge Valves are diaphragm type valves designed for vertical or horizontal installation and for fire protection system service.
-
They are used as "automatic water control valves" in deluge, preaction, and special types of fire protection systems such as foam-water and double interlock systems.
-
The diaphragm style design allows external resetting - providing for easy resetting of a deluge or preaction system without having to open a valve handhole cover to manually reposition a clapper and/or latch mechanism.

Automatic Air release valve
Automatic Air release Valves AAV are installed on higher points of the system to collect air gaps and release air from the network , Air Release Valves are designed to vent entrained air that collects at high points in a pipeline. This valve continuously eliminates air from a system by releasing small quantities of air before large air pockets can occur. In many installations, continuing accumulations of air in the pipeline (lacking air release valves); cause flow capacity to slowly decrease; power consumption slowly increases; unnoticeable at first, until flow drops dramatically, even stopping due to air blocks in the piping. Another problem resulting from excessive air accumulation is un-explained pipeline rupture. These ruptures are passed off as the result of ground settling or defective pipe, Where as in reality its large air pockets that greatly increase pressure surges (normally occurring) when flow stops and starts causing the rupture. During normal pipeline operation, air accumulation at the high point will displace the liquid within the air valve and lower the water level in relation to the float. As level of the liquid lowers, where the float is no longer buoyant, the float drops and opens the valve orifice seat and permitting accumulated air to be exhausted to atmosphere. After air is released, the liquid level in the air valve rises and closes the valve orifice seat. This cycle automatically repeats as air accumulates inside the air release valve, thereby preventing the formation of air pockets
Installation
Air Release Valves are typically installed at highpoints in pipelines and at regular intervals, of approximate 1/2 mile, along uniform grade line pipe. Mount the unit in the vertical position on top of the pipeline with an isolation valve installed below each valve in the event servicing is required. A vault with adequate air venting and drainage is recommended.
