Current Position

Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology - Cairo University
From February 2007 till now. The teaching in the medical school involves both undergraduates and postgraduate students.
Clinical sessions: Two outpatient clinics, two ultrasonography clinics, one operating day, one bedside clinical session and staff round a week and one full day emergency unit management a month.
Teaching and training responsibilities: The post involves regular teaching sessions for undergraduates and postgraduates at the department and the medical school lecture rooms. The post also involves clinical teaching and training of the house officers, residents, and assistant lecturers on clinical diagnosis and management, ultrasonographic diagnosis, endoscopic surgery, as well as different operative procedures.
Administrative work: The post includes some administrative responsibilities regarding the preparation and supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate exams and supervising the emergency unit and the department of prophylactic medicine for 6 months each.
-Teaching to undergraduate - 6th October University.
-Teaching to undergraduate - Fayoum Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University.
-Teaching to House officer once a week on models.

Career History

Lecturer of Obstetrics and Gynecology - Kasr El-Aini school of Medicine
From October 2000 to February 2007. This post involves both academic and clinical activities in the medical school of Cairo University and University hospitals. The hospital is 2000 bed modernly equipped teaching hospital in all branches of medicine with excellent facilities.
Assistant Lecturer of Obstetrics and Gynecology - Kasr El-Aini school of Medicine
From November 1998 to October 2000. During this period I was involved in extensive research and developing higher clinical and surgical skills. This post also included teaching undergraduate medical students.
Resident of Obstetrics and Gynecology - Kasr El-Aini school of Medicine
From March 1995 to March 1998. During this period, I was trained on many procedures required by the obstetrician and gynecologist and was introduced to the advanced procedures and new technologies in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. During the same period I got my mastership degree.

For 12 months from 1/3/1994 to 28/2/1995.
