Modern dentistry tools and techniques have revolutionized the level of care that restorative and cosmetic treatments can provide. Arrow Smile Dental uses the latest state-of-the-art dental technology to bring exceptional care to our patients by utilizing digital x-rays, 3rd-Dimentional (3D) Cone Beam X-rays, full color cameras, dual monitors to allow the patients to see their own teeth and X-rays, and CEREC – One Visit Dentistry which allows our office to mil out new crowns within an hour.

CEREC® is an acronym for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. Translated, it means that a dentist can economically restore damaged teeth in a single appointment using a high-quality ceramic material that matches the natural color of other teeth.

Digital radiography (digital x-ray) is the latest technology used to take dental x-rays. This technique uses an electronic sensor (instead of x-ray film) that captures and stores the digital image on a computer. This image can be instantly viewed and enlarged helping the dentist and dental hygienist detect problems easier. Digital x-rays reduce radiation 80-90% compared to the already low exposure of traditional dental x-rays. Dental x-rays are essential, preventative, diagnostic tools that provide valuable information not visible during a regular dental exam. Dentists and dental hygienists use this information to safely and accurately detect hidden dental abnormalities and complete an accurate treatment plan. Without x-rays, problem areas may go undetected.

Intra-Oral Cameras

The Orthophos XG5 from Sirona allows us to produce high quality diagnostic images for general orthodontic procedures involving braces and Invisalign. What does this mean for our patients? It means you won’t need to be sent out for these x-rays and can begin your new treatment on day one.

Our treatment rooms have both intro-oral cameras and patient computer monitors. The intra-oral cameras allow Dr. Rosales to view your teeth and gums in precise detail. These images are transmitted to the patient computer monitor allowing Dr. Rosales to communicate information about diagnosis and treatment options with patients more easily than was possible in the past.
